The Vassivière gem
This 26,4km original circuit along the lake’s shore, going through bridgeson stilts, floating bridges, embankments on the water surface. It goes accross isolated creeks but also bustling beaches which invite you to a cool break.
In sport mode or simply wandering, entirely or partially, the shore walk is unmissable.
In season, complement your walk by using the taxi-boats starting at Auphelle, Broussas or Vassivière Island. The latter, full of contrasts, authentic and contemporary, surprising, inspiring and cultural… It is a concentrated Vassivière in itself.
