Organized by the producers of aromatic and medicinal plants in the Limousin region, this event aims to: – Promote the profession of producer and its environmentally-friendly practices, – Introduce the public to the world of plants through botanical walks, practical workshops and conferences. – Demonstrate the diversity of transformations at the aromatic and medicinal plant growers’ market, which also brings together Limousin basket-makers. The island’s “jardin des simples” (garden of simple plants) offers a life-size walk around all the plants that can be eaten, cured and perfumed.
