A summer of artistic encounters!

Join us on Île de Vassivière to discover the talent of New-Aquitaine craftspeople in an ephemeral exhibition-sales gallery created by the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Chambre des Métiers and the Pôle des Métiers d’Art du Limousin in partnership with the Centre internatioal d’art et du paysage, the Syndicat and the Office de Tourisme du lac de Vassivière . Called“Les Arts en l’Île”, this event celebrates the creativity and authenticity of New-Aquitaine’s arts and crafts. Discover remarkable craft creations, and chat with artisans to find out more about their techniques!

During this two-month event, meet the artisans themselves. They’ll be delighted to share their know-how and their love of their craft. Their backgrounds and stories show how ancestral gestures are reinvented to create exceptional products and everyday objects accessible to all.

Each creation, steeped in history, is the fruit of traditional know-how.
