Gâteau Le Creusois

Pure butter, with hazelnuts, "Le Creusois" is a moist, melting and tender cake, the perfect companion for tea, coffee or all kinds of desserts
coffee, or all kinds of desserts. It can also be enjoyed on its own, or with an Alsace white wine, such as Gewurztraminer. Legend has it that the recipe for this delicious pastry was translated from a 15th-century parchment found in the ruins of a monastery in the Crocq region of eastern Creuse. Mini creusois (assortment of 10), creusois en étui (6-8 people), creusois en tuile avec sa valisette or giant creusois (1m20 diameter to order), there's every reason to enjoy this emblematic Creuse pastry.
