  • The Heritage Department of the Conseil départemental de la Creuse is lending us a travelling exhibition entitled "Patrimoine de nos Campagnes", featuring 260 photographs.

    The photographs come from the work of the Heritage Department, which for five years has been criss-crossing Creuse, canton by canton, commune by commune, village by village, renewing and enriching our knowledge of the Creuse's vernacular heritage.     The photographs come from the work of the Heritage Department, which for five years has been criss-crossing Creuse, canton by canton, commune by commune, village by village, renewing and enriching our knowledge of the Creuse's vernacular heritage. Landscapes and agricultural, hydraulic, craft, industrial and religious heritage all tell the story of a territory, but above all the story of the men and women who bring it to life.
