The semi-permanent routes in forests
Discover the semi-permanent routes in the forests of the Monts de Guéret and venture to find the different beacons to complete your route!
Practical information
The beacons are attached to the trees by cables. Their locations are changed regularly which allows the renewal of the different circuits offered. These routes are located in the Maupuy massif, in the Chabrières forest and on the Puy de Gaudy site.

The Puy de Gaudy orienteering course starts from the parking lot above the equestrian center.
The Maupuy Massif orienteering course
Practical information
For the Maupuy Massif circuit, the departure is from the Maupuy relay antenna (GPS coordinates : Latitude : 46.15672 / Longitude : 1.83638)
The orienteering course in the Chabrières forest
Practical information
The start of the orienteering course in the Chabrières forest is from the parking lot of the Parc Animalier des Monts de Guéret “Les Loups de Chabrières”.
Permanent courses at Courtille
Discover 4 permanent orienteering courses on the base de loisirs de Courtille. The start and finish are always located at the same place, namely at the entrance of the driving course dedicated to children (near the restaurant).
Klé’o courses
These courses are particularly suitable for children aged 2 to 6 years.
The Klé’o kit consists of the Klé’o card for the accompanying person, three game cards and a diploma for the child.
These items are available free of charge at the reception of the Tourist Office of Greater Guéret or at the reception of the Parc Animalier des Monts de Guéret “Les Loups de Chabrières”.
Practical information
Access to the different courses is free of charge. Please be sure to respect fences and private property.

Dernière balade creusoise… petit tour rapide au labyrinthe.
