Fursac

A few kilometers from the main road and rail links, straddling the Gartempe valley, the flowery village of Fursac, 1500 inhabitants, invites you to stop and stroll along the banks of the river.

After a stop at the terrace of a café, a shopping spree in a shop, or longer in one of the restaurants, the churches or the commanderie des Templiers will remind you of the rich historical past of the commune.

Walkers, the hiking or biking trails will seduce you with their diversity, from the views of the Saint-Goussaud mountains to the old mills on the Gartempe, passing by the Croix de Saint-Léobon or the Chiroux dolmen.

In the evening, thanks to one of the many cultural events, the quality of the hotel-restaurant Nougier (Bib Gourmand in the Michelin), of the many gites or guest rooms will convince you to extend your stay.
