Music brings souls together…
Jazz à la Sout’ is an opportunity to celebrate together the return of a full jazz program. The festival offers more than 15 concerts with different tones, bands from all over France and even from neighboring countries like Ukraine!”The young students of the Departmental Conservatory Emile-Goué will not fail to show us their talent either. And as if to finish in apotheosis, the Quartet will offer us a trip to the Harlem of the 30s, accompanied by Edouard Wallyn and the dancers of the Cie La Riflette.
Behind this programming, there is the team of Musique(s) en Marche and its forty or so volunteers and professionals who work every year to offer us an extraordinary jazz programming!
A Jazz weekend for Marche et Combraille in Aquitaine!
Two dates to remember: Saturday, October 23 and Sunday, October 24, 2021.
First of all, let’s meet on Saturday at the Chateau de la Mothe in Mérinchal, for the concert of “Rêve de Swing”. Rêve de Swing is four friends: Marius Turjanski, Geoffroy Boizard, Robin Dietrich and Aurélien Gody, who found in 2019 their jazz band in tribute to Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt. Their music is in the pure tradition of the gypsy jazz style with a relentless rhythmic foundation for a playground where Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli standards are mixed with gypsy music. With this formation, it’s the tunes of the belle époque that are reborn like a sweet festive nostalgia.
The Trio: Stan Laferrière, Pierre Maingourd and Nicolas Montier are three artists who from the very first note understand each other and play together as if their trio was an obvious. Not easy to find the perfect chord, but they succeeded: from the happiness of the perfect chord to the pleasure of playing together; Don’t hesitate a second! See you at the Auzances multipurpose hall on Sunday, October 24.
