” The Braid” novel by Laëtitia Colombani, traces the journey of three women on three continents: SmitaDalit who lives in India, dreaming of a different fate for her daughter Lalita. Guilia in Sicily dreamy and courageous, will fight to keep the family business. And finally Sarah, a Canadian lawyer; Shark among sharks hit hard by the disease: cancer. In the middle of these three destinies, a braid… Three women, three cultures, three struggles. This novel has upset Hélène Arden (author, actress) who has made a faithful adaptation. She embodies on stage these three women and their will to live. A powerful message of hope, humanism, universal solidarity, directed by Valéry Rodriguez (The Black Legends Show). To be consumed without moderation!
“Tria Fata“: an old lady shows up, her time has come with that of the show and she will unfold the panorama of her existence in a rush. All the metamorphoses of a life are thus exposed to the eyes of the spectator. From birth to the end through childhood and love: a great kaleidoscope swirls before the extinction. We pass from one threshold to another under the reign of the three Fates presiding over our destinies, the one who weaves the thread of life, the one who unwinds it and the one who cuts it; three Fates, three destinies, Tria Fata. Under this title, the puppet embodies as closely as possible its function as a universal symbol of humanity. A show both joyful and moving, full of poetry and delicacy. This show won the 1st prize at the Fira de Titelles de Lleida (Spain) 2016.
