Potters from France and Europe…

Thirty or so potters, of various origins and techniques will be exhibiting their creations during this weekend, which promises to be warm and sunny.
This art craft thus honored here, and at its true value, is an ancient know-how, ardently defended, among others, by the Ecomuseum of the Tuilerie de Pouligny and its world-renowned ceramists.
Visitors will discover everyday objects alongside original and unique artistic works to appreciate or even acquire. The latter will grace your interiors while others will be displayed on your table.

Exhibitions, demonstrations, lectures…

Discover, in a different way, the art of pottery and ceramics. For this is indeed an art, a particular know-how, which crosses the centuries without ever aging. The manufacturing and firing techniques are different in different countries. But the Tuilerie de Pouligny, “a true transmitter of the memory of the gestures and know-how of the workers of clay, potters, tuiliers and brickmakers” has a large number of ovens: a Gallic oven, a Raku oven, Canadian, Korean… Each one has its own particularity and history. You will know everything and if you want to know even more, films and lectures will punctuate this weekend of discovery and celebration of Earth and Fire.
