Created in 1965, the Dun le Palestel cycling night is one of the oldest events of its kind.
The international cycling criterium is a major event of the season in Limousin. Due to its quality and free access to the circuit, it is an undeniable success whose reputation is confirmed over the years thanks also to a serious and dedicated team of volunteers.
The circuit laid out in the middle of Dun le Palestel’s town center of 1500 meters and perfectly lit allows the numerous spectators to follow in real time the slightest evolution thanks to an excellent sound system.
The day after the Tour de France, still scheduled a fortnight after the arrival on the Champs Elysees, the event brings together professional riders in the limelight, but also seasoned amateurs.
