MILLEVACHES REGIONAL NATURAL PARK IN LIMOUSIN
Located in the foothills of the Massif Central, in the heart of the highlands of the Limousine mountain, this park covers an area of more than 3000 km2, extending over the departments of Creuse, Corrèze and Haute-Vienne. Peat bogs, dry heather heaths, deciduous forests, meadows…
This land is the ideal playground for all lovers of hiking and outdoor activities. Various landscapes composed of a mosaic of natural environments and villages with remarkable houses, it is marked by the omnipresence of water (springs, rivers, peat bogs, reservoirs, irrigation canals…) and shelters sensitive animal species such as pearl mussels, fario trout, circaète Jean Le Blanc and of course the european otterwhich has become the emblem of the Park.
