Morning: Hiking “the path of castles”

The Creuse swarms with a multitude of castles, for most of them, it is possible to admirethe exteriors from the road or as it is the case for Mainsat from the marked hiking trails. That is why we suggest this hike of ten kilometers. It will allow you to see the Castle of Mainsat and the Chateau des Portes. The latter is notably known for having received in stay the famous Antoine de Saint Exupéry in 1917.
As always in the Creuse, the trail offers a nice difference in altitude and a tree-lined route 🙂

Lunch break at the restaurant “Le Mainsat”

After this warm-up, take the time to recharge the batteries at the table of the restaurant “Le Mainsat”, located in the heart of the village you will find a cwise and gourmet cuisine, a warm setting, and the happiness of the palate in surprising and inventive recipes. To quench your thirst the cellar with an eclectic choice of small beverages will make your happiness.

AFTERNOON: MTB VAE outing

A MTB outing in the Creuse often rhymes with technicality, not always obvious for beginners to get familiar with the unevenness of our Creuse circuits. But don’t worry, enjoy the joys of two wheels for an afternoon! The cycling circle Mainsat Evaux offers from July 16 to August 27, 2020 every Thursday a supervised outing on electrically assisted mountain bikes. Everything is included from the equipment to the good humor of your guide 🙂 !
