Go on D4 by the pont de la Gartempe d° Guéret, then right D74 d° Bénévent-l’Abbaye via Neuville-Bateau, then D48, D74 and D10 to Bénévent-l’Abbaye.
At Bénévent-l’Abbaye, (Abbey classified and theScenovision®) take a right on D914, d° Marsac,
At Marsac, follow D 914 and then left d° Saint-Goussaud D48 via Arrènes and La Ronze.
At Saint-Goussaud (late 12th century church, Gallo-Roman remains of Puy de Jouer, Friaulouse peat bog), turn left d° Châtelus-le-Marcheix via D5.
At Châtelus-le-Marcheix, follow D5, then turn left D8 after the Thaurion bridge and left again d° Monsergue, Chauverne-Neyre and D44 d° Malmouche, then D8 via Mas-Cluzeau to join D941 and Bourganeuf.
Cross Bourganeuf (Tour Zizim, Martin Nadaud) by D941 (d° Clermont-Ferrand) and turn right D8 d° Royère-de-Vassivière via Le Breuil and Le Compeix.

At Royère-de-Vassivière, follow D3 d° Jansanat and take a left on D35A to Lachaud.
At Lachaud, take D8 on the right to Gentioux.
A Gentioux, (Monument aux morts) continue on D8 then left on D35 d° Pallier (Commanderie, Église Ste-Madeleine), Le Saintoux, le Montfranc to D26 to take a left at the T.
At the junction with D992 take a left. After Villemoneix turn right on D16, via Senoueix (Roman bridge), Bouffanges and Saint-Marc-à-Loubaud.
At Saint-Marc-à-Loubaud, take a right onto D59 d° La Nouaille.
A La Nouaille, go straight at the intersection onto D26 toward Féniers via Le Chiroux, Les Farges, Villecrouseix, Chissac and Gradeix.
At Féniers, follow D8 left to Mas d’Artige via Col du Massoubre and D982.
At Le Mas d’Artige, take a right on D982 to La Courtine (Military Camp).
A La Courtine, take a left on D996 d° Saint-Oradoux-de-Chrirouze (on the right: Forêt de Châteauvert, highest point of the Creuse at 932 m altitude). After Croix-Longe, left on D18A (before Etang de Méouze), then left on D18 d° Magnat-l’Étrange.
At Magnat-l’Étrange, take D90 d° Saint-Georges-Nigremont via Traleprat and La Chérie. Continue on D90 to the D10 junction and take a right d° Pontcharraud.
A Pontcharraud, follow D10 d° Saint-Maurice-près-Crocq via Sénimontel and Longevialle.
A Saint-Maurice-près-Crocq, follow D10 to Crocq via Le Gaignol.
